New Dry Riverbed and Plantings2 Photos
The inspiration for this dry riverbed came from an adjacent large water feature on the adjacent building. The addition of the dry riverbed connected the exteriors of the two buildings and gave them a sense of history. To the viewer, perhaps there may have been a river running in front of this building at one time and had since dried up. The boulders were added for impact.

New Dry Riverbed and Plantings

While this dry riverbed was created in front of a commercial building, this idea can be used in a yard as well to create movement and a focal point in an area where it might be challenging to grow certain things. Photo by: Magda Lane
